He wins when he has a higher hand that of the dealer and will lose when the hand value goes above 21, or when the dealer has a higher hand.

A real boost for blackjack was the beginning of the Internet games. The Internet opened up a new world to the blackjack player. Some of the old time table players joined the ranks of the video game players. These online games introduced a whole bunch of new blackjack variants.
